About the Author

Deborah Kaminski is Professor Emerita of Mechanical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

I love to travel and use the fabulous places I visit in my novels. I am the author of three novels, over 80 peer-reviewed articles in technical journals, an invited article in the New York Times, a featured article in Science, with associated podcast, and an engineering textbook published by John Wiley & Sons. I live with my family among many beautiful trees in upstate New York.
